Maybe You feel frustrated as you look back at 2017, Perhaps you did not make the progress on some goals or even forgot about them completely, Your not alone, I am letting it go for a fresh start, planners are becoming my friend, LOL! Remember a goal is only a wish without a plan. Maybe goal setting failed you and you feel defeated thinking about 2018.
Scripture says in 1 Corinthians 3:4 We are not mere men, ( But have been empowered by the Holy Spirit.) We are not mere man and we have to think differently. Where is God leading us by His Spirit, the key is to open up our heart and mind. We have to get rid of the little thinking and go from little faith to BIG faith, THINK BIGGER.
Everything we Want is on the other side of FEAR,we cannot drag Old Mindsets into the New Year and expect New Things.
BUT I HAVE REALLY GREAT NEWS!
What causes people to change is one PIVOTAL moment. It's the moment where You decide that the PAIN of staying the same is greater than the PAIN of change. Love this, because Holy Spirit is flow and He always moves on movement, He is waiting on us to say YES to His plan. Be a Brave my friend, Let your pain be your gain!
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.
What if this week or today is the day that it all changes, by you saying yes. Maybe you have been thinking I really want my life to change, be organized, simplified, inspired, empowered, equipped, greater clarity, joyful, fulfilled, vibrant, flourishing with vision or dreams, but it is really feels scary and I do not know how it will happen.
What to do While Waiting on God...
While waiting sounds passive, hard and not fun, scripture clearly teaches us that God wants us to be active in our faith and in the work He desires to do through us. In the power of wait, great fruit bearing is happening and maturity such as patience, endurance, and perseverance begin to blossom into a greater trust in our freindship with God.
God hears you;
Micah 7:7 But as for me I watch and hope for the Lord, I wait for my savior, my God will hear me.
Be Expectant, God is faithful and answers in many ways;
Psalm 5:3 In the morning, Lord you hear my voice, in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
John 10:27, Jesus says , "My sheep, hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." Until you learn to recognize His voice, you can't follow the Shepherd moment-by-moment and get lost.
Trust in the Lord;
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.
Wait for Gods promise;
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the father.
Waiting on God is a divine Romance, a passionate dialogue, a two way conversation marked by intense listening, love and compassion. Surrendering our will to His to follow Him.
The Lord has filled the pages of God's word with promises of blessings to those who wait for Him. And remember, His slightest Word stands fast and sure, it can never fail you. So my heart sees the greatness of His power and love for me to His promises that sustain me with Godly confidence knowing He who started this good work in me is faithful to complete it.

THE TORMENT OF SELF-DOUBT to BECOMING THE CONFIDENT YOU!
Are you struggling with self-doubt, lack of confidence or who you really are? The truth is everyone has doubts about themselves, their skills, abilities, their potential, their looks, even their intentions.
Doubts are especially quite normal in new or challenging situations. Famous leaders, presidents, CEO's, generals, heroes all have experienced self-doubt, But many are afraid to admit it and suffer under its consequences of living at their full potential in life.
The answer is called FEAR, a perceived threat that comes against your mind and heart, telling you , You are not good enough, smart enough, tough enough, pretty enough, likable enough, and the list goes on...
Self-doubt comes when we are faced with a challenge or a storm in life, something we have never done before, a new role, new responsibility, new relationship, parenthood, marriage,new business, or something that carries a barrage of negative or limiting beliefs for us.
Aside from being negative through process, self doubt is really not a thing in itself at all .Its truly a lack of something vital to who we really were created to be,and that is becoming the successful You, called self confidence.
Jeremiah 17;7 Blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and Confidence is in the Lord.
Trace self doubt back to its very roots and you will find , the lack of faith or trust, all signs point to fear itself. Fear of what ? Failure, criticism, judgement ,loss of status, identity, embarrassment, the list goes on. FEAR is almost always self imposed and its the biggest lie and obstacle we put in our way to achieving or being who Christ called us to be.The end result of self doubt is that we give into fear and give up.
Hebrews 18:1 Says we are to pray and NEVER GIVE-UP!
Do not let let self doubt hold you back from the dream God has placed in your heart, or connecting more freely with others for His plan and purpose in your life.
To Succeed at being ourselves, we must be confident. It's not self confidence we seek, but our confidence in Christ alone.
Philippians 1:6 says He who began a good work in You is faithful to complete it.
John 15:5 Jesus said, apart from me you can do nothing.
Most of our struggling and internal agony and frustration comes from misplaced confidence.
In Philippians 3:3 Paul says we are not to put any confidence in the flesh this means in ourselves, family and friends, but God alone, I am not saying we cannot trust anyone, but if we give to others or to ourselves the trust that belongs to God alone, we will not experience the real victory. God will not allow us to succeed until our confidence is in the right place, or in the right person, the credit is due to God alone all glory goes to Him.In order to grow and succeed at anything, we must have confidence in God alone. But develop confidence in Gods love, mercy and goodness , God believes in us and He wants us to succeed.
Consistency is key for growing in our confidence, our faith in believing in what we do not see, but trusting in His promises and agreeing with them and applying them to your life.
God did not create us for failure. we may fail at some things on our way to success, but trusting God will take our mistakes and work them out for our good. Be confident that you hear from God, led by God, you are full potential,gifting and abilities that God created in you. Live in greater joy and peace and the confidence you can have in Christ.
